Access to the ski area
NONSTOP to the top – and then nonstop on the piste: Wagrain’s ski area offers you quick, convenient access to skiing fun! Top capacity cable cars which take you to the very top of both Grießenkareck and Grafenberg in one go with no stops.
Main access stations:
- Bottom station Grafenberg (Markt 59, 5602 Wagrain)
- Bottom station “Flying Mozart” gondola (Widmoosweg 6, 5602 Wagrain)
- Bottom station "Rote 8er" gondola (Moadörfl 67, 5602 Wagrain)
All gondola stations have plenty of parking space, ski hire and sports shops, restaurants and ski schools. For day guests travelling by car or by bus from home, we recommend using the “Rote 8er” gondola as you don’t have to drive through the village on arrival or departure.
Have a break from your car by using the ski buses. The Bergbahnen AG Wagrain ski buses are free and take you to all the gondola stations during the winter season.
Daily bus timetable: 08.30 until 17.00
During the high season the buses run between the Grafenberg lift and the Flying Mozart every 15 minutes. During the pre- and post-season every 20 minutes.
The ski bus line Grafenberg to the „Rote 8er“ gondola runs approximately every 30 minutes.
